Can you write your testimony in 7 words? No less, no more.
It’s harder than it sounds. But…
New York City is all buzzing about a new book called Not Quite What I Was Planning, a collection of 6 word memoirs from people in all walks of life.
Apparently, the idea came from a challenge Ernest Hemingway once received in a bar.
What struck me about the memoirs, though they are often funny and witty, was how hopeless many of the writers sounded.
In response, I’ve decided to ask people to give me their testimonies… in just 7 words.
To submit one, simply post a comment with your testimony onto any post on this blog. Or, you can send an email to submit@7wordtestimonies.com. You can include your name and location if you’d like, but it’s not necessary. I’m just looking for positive stories of people whose lives have been changed by their relationship with Christ.
Note that these might become a book one day and you’ll probably get no money from it, but if you include your name, you will get author credit.
